Yet another MTG practice card (I swear only a couple more)

Wow, I got into mtg afew years ago and tidal force was one of my first and best cards. It's art is so stunning, really captures the feeling of intimidation an entire ocean chasing you would bring

I'm glad it did finally get printed! It's a great composition and one of the most convincing water elementals I've seen. :)

I just can't think of anything great to say. I love how well you did with the water (and if anything this will help me with learning how to use water). Fantastic job.

I apologize for the late response, I don't check my DA as often as I should.

Thank you very much  :). It was very difficult to learn at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is exceedingly fun to draw and paint.

The arms remind me of monkeys in a barrel. And I mean that in the best possible way. :P My favorite part of this is how much movement it has. Lawl, who needs gravity?

lol I know what you mean, I will try to fix the meaty looking parts. I was browsing through MTG alpha set cards to find some good practice cards and found this one, figured the challenge plus the subject matter would help with my portfolio.

Painting water is a pain, especially when it is doing something that water doesnt normally do.
